Qur’an Memorization (Hifz) and Arabic Program

A Life Anchored in Qur’an and Language
At Rehmat Community, we envision a Qur’an Memorization and Arabic Program that cultivates both deep reverence for the Divine Word and fluency in the language that carries it. Designed for students who seek to internalize the Qur’an not only with their minds but with their hearts and lives, this program will offer a disciplined, nurturing path toward becoming huffāẓ rooted in tradition, character, and clarity of expression.

More Than Memorization
Our approach to hifz will be rooted in intentionality. Students will not simply memorize— they will understand, reflect, and grow. Alongside structured daily memorization, learners will engage with tafsīr, tajwīd, and essential principles of recitation, fostering a connection to the Qur’an that is both intimate and enduring.

Grounded in Arabic
Language is the key to comprehension. Our program will offer an immersive Arabic curriculum, equipping students with the tools to read, understand, and eventually think in the language of revelation. From foundational grammar to classical texts, Arabic instruction will progress hand-in-hand with Qur’anic study, creating a deeply integrated experience.

A Sacred Rhythm
Students will follow a rhythm of study that mirrors the balance of a spiritually centered life: periods of focused memorization, quiet reflection, meaningful mentorship, and prayer. Days will begin and end with intention, allowing students to internalize the discipline and serenity that accompany a life of devotion.

An Environment of Nurture and Nobility
Housed within the broader Rehmat Community Centre, this program will offer a space of warmth, companionship, and sincerity. With small cohorts, experienced teachers, and a culture that honors patience and progress, students will grow in a setting that supports their individual pace and personal relationship with the Qur’an.

Who It’s For
This program is for families who value the transformative power of the Qur’an and the beauty of the Arabic language. It’s for students who aspire to carry the Qur’an in their hearts and on their tongues—not as a performance, but as a way of being. Whether pursuing full hifz or a strong foundational relationship with the Book of Allah, students will leave with a love for the Qur’an and the language of their tradition that will guide them for a lifetime.
